Taking Pride in Your Appearance

The doctors don’t save you; we do. We’re the ones keeping an eye on your electrolytes, your fluids, whether you’re running a fever. We’re often the ones who decide whether you need a feeding tube or a central line for your IV. And we’re the ones who yell and screech when something goes wrong.

True…  I love when I call an MD about a problem and they say to me…”Do whatever you think you should do”

I always tell them, “I only have RN after my name, you have MD.  You have to give the orders… but I will suggest……”

and then they say “Yes.  Do that.”

It’s the start of another week :)

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a wonderful Thanksgiving. Did anyone do Black Friday? Get anything really good? I stayed away, and chose to sleep in rather than stand in a line all night/morning. I know some people who decided to go and they said it was madness, but apparently worth it.

Can you believe December is only a couple days away and 2012 is just around the corner!
